Painted for a friend's Grossdeutschland Panzergrenadier force, the first of two platoons though the second will look pretty similar.
Battlefront figures from the GE723 blister with a few others added in: I just painted them. Options for plain, Panzerknacker- and Panzerfaust-equipped Command Teams.
Some smaller group-shots from different angles to show details better.

As always very smooth work and great attention to detail.
ReplyDeleteRegards Furphy .
Very nice. You are a good friend to paint that much infantry for a friend!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is a commission job: I'm not *that* nice a person!

Regardless, its a big commitment to paint so much infantry for someone else!
DeleteAmazing stuff as usual Rex - I'm quite interested in seeing how Team Yankee pans out later on in the year!
ReplyDeleteCheer Mike.
DeleteSame here, but hopefully it's not all "'Merica! MERICA!" with oh-so-stupid Soviets/Warsaw Pact opposition, otherwise I'll pass. The initial name has me dubious'already, knowing BF...

superbly done work!) your friend is indeed a lucky one ;)
ReplyDeletePS: your excellent works and guides are highly useful and inspirating for my amateur painting of 101st Airborne for FoW :) thanks!
Thanks Igor, I'm glad you find them useful.

What I would give to be a fly on the wall when you paint...simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave: you'd be there for a very, very....very long time!

ReplyDeleteOnce again - stunning work!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting!

Perfectly :).
ReplyDeleteGreat work again! The camo is perfect, all the faces well defined, very smooth shades.
ReplyDeleteI should try your way to do the barrels, with the grey shaded look, way better looking than what I do on my black metal barrels.
Great looking units, beautiful paint job and impressive basement!
