Hornisse

Models by Battlefront, painted ages ago; maybe two years back. I needed to update with something that wasn't just text...

Yeah yeah a new post...we'll see if I can bother keeping it going. Maybe a Field Grey tutorial in the next few weeks; people have been bugging me for that one for ages.

  4. Wow, only way to edit was to remove comment, wanted to add something else...Always a pleasure seeing new stuff from you! Love the crews and the splinter! These are a departure from your clean look - I think with your painting style and the worn look, you have a winning combination!

    1. Cheer Troy: it need some refining but I'll muddle through with some more practice.

  5. They look good. I love the flat panels on the hornisse.

I heard you played against (?) the panzer company I painted at the tournament in SA. What did you take to the tournament.

I second the call for the fieldgrey tutorial. I'm always interested in seeing more ways to paint it.

  6. Good stuff in the beautfitul CDT style. I admire your keeping at it, I have switched to boardgames (wargames) and get a lot more plays in. Don't know if I am very unhappy about it, actually :-)

    1. Thanks. It was probably VMC Middlestone for the dunkelgelb, with VMC Pale Sand added for a lighter version to spray as panel highlights. The green was VMC Reflective Green IIRC.
